Terms of Service and Disclaimer
These terms govern FAN Studio API Key applications, reviews, issuance, and related services. By submitting an application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms.
1. Service
The system provides an application directory, API Key requests, reviews, status tracking, and notifications. API capabilities, quotas, and technical requirements are governed by the relevant application's documentation and administrative rules. Submission does not guarantee approval.
This is a public-interest API service. FAN Studio makes no express or implied guarantee regarding availability, continuity, timeliness, accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
2. Application information
- You must provide accurate, valid information relating to you and update it when necessary.
- You must not impersonate another person or misuse another person's email, phone number, or platform account.
- FAN Studio may approve or reject requests, assess security and capacity risks, and request additional information.
3. API Key rules
The API is limited to personal, educational, research, testing, and other non-commercial use. Any commercial use is strictly prohibited.
- An API Key may only be used by the approved applicant for the approved non-commercial purpose. It must not be shared, sold, rented, or published.
- It must not be used in paid software, paid services, advertising-supported products, business production systems, commercial client projects, data resale, or any other directly or indirectly profit-making activity.
- You must not use the service unlawfully, infringe others' rights, bypass access controls, scrape abusively, disrupt the service, or conduct attacks.
- You are responsible for protecting your API Key and promptly reporting exposure, theft, or abnormal use.
- FAN Studio may restrict, suspend, or revoke a Key for violations or security risks.
4. Personal information
FAN Studio processes personal information for this system. Contact: fan@fanstudio.tech.
- Data: name or nickname, third-party username, phone number, email and verification status, stated use, IP address, timestamps, review records, and API Key status.
- Purposes: identity and request review, verification and result notices, duplicate and abuse detection, security audits, troubleshooting, and service administration.
- Use: collection, storage, review, querying, and notification, with access limited to authorized administrators and the relevant application developer where necessary.
- Retention: only for the period necessary for review, the Key lifecycle, security audits, and disputes; data will then be deleted or anonymized unless applicable law requires otherwise.
- Sharing: personal information is not sold. It may be processed by necessary email or hosting providers, disclosed when legally required, or used to protect lawful rights.
You may email us to request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent, subject to applicable legal and security-retention requirements.
5. Changes and availability
The service may change, be interrupted, or stop because of maintenance, upgrades, networks, third parties, force majeure, or security incidents. FAN Studio will take reasonable steps to reduce disruption but does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service or suitability for every purpose.
6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” You must independently assess API output and must not use it as the sole basis for activities requiring absolute accuracy or uninterrupted availability.
To the extent permitted by law, FAN Studio is not liable for indirect, consequential, lost-profit, or data-loss damages caused by network failures, third parties, user configuration, exposed Keys, unauthorized use, or force majeure. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
7. Intellectual property and third parties
Rights in the system, documentation, and marks belong to their respective owners. Listed software and third-party services remain the responsibility of their providers and may be governed by separate terms and privacy rules.
8. Updates, governing law, and disputes
Material updates will be presented on the page or through another reasonable method. Updated terms apply to new requests submitted after the update. Material adverse changes affecting existing users will be handled as required by law. These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes should first be discussed in good faith and may then be submitted to a court with lawful jurisdiction.
